good but not a must have This brush performs a bit differently than I had expected. It looks like it would be soft and flexible but it's quite firm. I expected it to offer a graduated line depending on the angle of the brush to the surface but it really is only capable of a very fine line. The bristles are trimmed to a fine point so when you apply eyeliner, shadow, or pigment you'll have to reapply because the brush won't hold a lot of pigment. That's okay because this is the brush you want to use if you are lining in fine detail. I can see this being used for artistic and professional applications such as face painting or costume or effects makeup. I don't use it often but I do like it. I consider this a brush for someone who already has a good collection of quality brushes. This is not a must have. Update on 12/1/09 - the ferrule is coming off the handle. I so rarely use this brush and when I do wash it I am very careful. Despite all that the brush is falling apart. I'm downgrading to 2 stars for that.
